Meet the Staff!
Rabbi Zalman and Sarah Deitsch
The Deitsches have been at OSU since 1996 and they dedicate their lives to Jewish life. Zalman is from Brooklyn, NY and Sarah is from Queens, NY. They have 7 children who all grew up at Ohio State and 8 grandchildren. They give of themselves wholeheartedly to the Jewish students at OSU and teach, inspire and love them.
Rabbi Levi & Aviva Andrusier
The Andrusier's assumed the role of executive directors in 2016 after nearly 20 years as educational directors for Chabad of Columbus. Rabbi Levi is from Brooklyn, NY and Aviva from Long Beach, CA. They have 7 children & 2 grandchildren. They dedicated their lives to bringing the passion & warmth of Yiddishkeit to Jewish families in Columbus, and since 2016 together with Rabbi Zalman & Sarah, to the Jewish student community at OSU. They thoroughly enjoy the relationships made with students and their labor of love at OSU Chabad.
Casey Washer
Chabad House Manager and Culinary Assistant
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from OSU in 2011. He is dedicated to the Jewish OSU students. He is married with 2 children and loves reading, traveling, cooking and languages.
Goldie Davidsohn
Freshmen Engagement Coordinator
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I am passionate about spreading light and kindness, and creating a lasting impact. Some of my hobbies include, photography which I explore through different mediums, I try to capture small moments of beauty. I also enjoy reading and being in the outdoors.
